Three artists will perform Nov. 10 at the Cottage Event Center, in Roanoke, to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.

Admission to the show by Don Wharton, Jen Fisher and Barrie Fleetwood is free. All proceeds from the event, including the cash bar, food sales, raffles and donations will be sent to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, distributed by the Greater Houston Community Foundation.

The concert is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

Wharton, a Christian singer and songwriter, has performed at more than 3,000 churches, schools and conventions in all 50 states and several foreign countries. He has written more than 250 songs as well as a novel, “Conviction.”

During his performance, he will recount a 1993 plane crash in the Bering Sea near Nome, AK, that nearly took his life as he returned from a mission trip to the Soviet Union.

Fisher, also a singer and songwriter, has performed as a solo artist and with several local bands including the country-rock group Sugar Shot and the pop cover band Finding Friday. She currently performs with Jen & the Foggy Creek Band, which has an acoustic/bluegrass sound.

Fleetwood, a singer and guitarist, appears at wineries and events around Indiana with a repertoire that ranges from Bob Dylan and John Hiatt to Van Morrison and the Monkees. He also performs with the acoustic trio Autumn Grey, featured annually at the Roanoke facility during the BBQ chef fund-raiser for Oak Hill Farm.

Food available for purchase will include sloppy joes, hot dogs, coney dogs and desserts. Door prizes will be awarded and a 50/50 raffle will be held.

The Cottage will raffle off tickets to its New year’s Eve dinner show featuring The Brat Pack and a voucher for a free rental of the facility to be used between January and April of 2018.
