Glenda L. Walberry

Glenda L. Walberry, 78, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at 4:30 a.m. at Coventry Meadows, Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Walberry graduated from Waterloo High School and attended Manchester College. She retired in 2000 from Huntington Memorial Hospital, where she had served as director of medical records/quality assurance for 30 years.

She was a member of the LaFontaine Arts Council and was a leader in the Huntington County 4-H program for many years.

She was born Nov. 25, 1938, in Garrett to Cecil and Sarah Kistler Fitch.

Survivors include two daughters, Angee (Margaret Broderick) Walberry, of Indianapolis, and Tracy (Brian) Patton, of New Hope, PA; two sons, Russ (Carolyn) Walberry, of Huntington, and Marshall Walberry, of Fort Wayne; a brother, Richard Fitch, of McKinney, TX; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a service following at 7 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington.
