Larry D. Couch

Larry D. Couch, 72, of Poneto, IN, and a native of Huntington County, IN, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at 11:57 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Couch graduated from Jackson Center High School in 1963 and attended International Business College, Fort Wayne. He retired from Franklin Electric, in Bluffton, where he had been employed in the IT department for 44 years. He had also farmed in Wells County. He was a member of New Hope Missionary Church, in Bluffton, and was a former member of the Southern Wells School Board.

He was born May 22, 1945, in Huntington County to Paul E. and Ethel Harrold Couch. He married Rosalie A. Moorman on Sept. 26, 1964, at Dillman United Brethren Church, and she preceded him in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Laura (Rod) Sills, of Roanoke; a son, Mike (Kim) Couch, of Bluffton; a brother, Steven (Sharon) Couch, of Warren; a sister, Mara Jo (Alan) Williams, of Bluffton; and four grandchildren, Adam (Jessica) Sills, of North Carolina; Grant Sills, of Roanoke; and Taylor Couch and Riley Couch, both of Bluffton.

Calling is Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, at 2 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Gary Aupperle will officiate. Interment will be at the Jones Cemetery, in Warren.
