Metro Kiwanis serves Thanksgiving meal to youth at Boys, Girls Club

The Huntington Metro Kiwanis prepared and served a Thanksgiving meal to the youth of the Parkview Boys & Girls Club of Huntington County. The meal was served on Monday, Nov. 20, with both children and their families invited to the meal.

Metro Kiwanis members who participated in the event were Jim Lewis, Leslie Zahm, Jon Ellet, Jim Dinius, Terry Oden, Steve Williams, Sue Ellet, Barry Giggy, Glenda Giggy, Sharon Rethlake, Judy DeLuca, Kevin Amick, Ann Oden, Rita Dinius, Pam Lewis, Evelyn Priddy and Bob Zahm.

The meal consisted of ham, turkey, dressing, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, rolls, brownies, cookies, cupcakes with blueberry, pecan and pumpkin pies. A total of 240 meals were served to the youth of the Boys & Girls Club, their families and the staff.
