Flint Springs Elementary School students pose with items they collected for the Huntington First Church of the Nazarene food pantry on the final day of the school’s food drive for the pantry on Thursday, Dec. 21. The schoolwide food drive started after Thanksgiving and saw students collect over 2,000 items, many of which were fruits and vegetables, per request by the pantry. Pictured are (front row from left) students Abram Klausing, Layla Ambriole, Brooke Clark, Haily DeVall, Brookelynn Buzzard, Sophie Lunsford, Jason Teusch and Eli Oswald and (back row) Marlene Johnston, food pantry organizer.
