‘Smart speaker’ w’shop at 2 libraries

The Huntington City-Township Public Library will offer free hands-on sessions to learn what smart speakers and other home assistants can do and how to “talk” to them. The Huntington branch will offer this program on Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. and the Markle branch library will host it on Feb. 19 at 5 p.m.

Library staff will demonstrate what apps can be used with each type of device and how to connect them and attendees will get hands-on experience with using an Amazon Echo.

This program is free and open to the public; no registration is required. The Huntington library is located at 255 W. Park Drive, Huntington, and the Markle branch is located at 155 W. Sparks St., Markle.
