Charles 'Ed' Foust

Charles "Ed" Foust, 66, of rural Warren, died Dec. 11, 2008, at 3:07 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Foust retired from Anaconda Wire and Cable in Marion. He had also worked as an X-ray technician at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, at International Harvester in Fort Wayne, as a computer programmer and as a full-time farmer.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Bluffton, the Eagles Lodge in Huntington and the National Rifle Association. He was president of Jones Cemetery.

He was a graduate of Jackson Center High School and Ivy Tech. He attended the United Church of God.

He was born Aug. 24, 1942, in Bluffton to Harrold Edwin and Dorothea Duncan Foust.

He is survived by four nieces, Teressa M. Lugar and Timisha L. Markle, both of Warren, Yvonne Taylor, of Suffolk, VA, and Carrie Lutze, of Pennsylvania.

A funeral service was held Dec. 17, 2008, at Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown and Son Chapel, Warren, with Rev. Dewey Zent officiating. Burial was at Jones Cemetery, Warren.
