The LaFontaine Arts Council has announced that a successful summer event will return to Huntington.

JeFFFest, which gets its name from the "fun food, fine art and fab music" on Jefferson Street in the downtown area, will be held on June 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The "fun food" will feature taste-size portions of offerings from local food vendors, including restaurants and caterers.

Area artists will provide the "fine art" by purchasing 5 by 7 canvases from Four Corners Custom Framing, a co-sponsor of the event, create a piece of art and return the canvas to the store for framing. All canvases will them become property of the arts council and will be put up for silent auction.

The "fab music" will be provided by a professional jazz group from Fort Wayne.
