Robert G. 'Bobby' Valenzuela

Robert G. "Bobby" Valenzuela, 41, of Marion, died Dec. 23, 2008, at Marion General Hospital.

Mr. Valenzuela graduated in 1986 from Marion High School. He was a forklift driver at the Red Gold Distribution Center, Alexandria, for the past seven years.

He was born Nov. 8, 1967, in Marion, to Roberto and Ruthhelma Waller Valenzuela. His father and stepmother, Roberto and Karen Valenzuela, survive in Marion. He married Tammy Allen on Jan. 27, 1990. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include his children, Robby Valenzuela, Tasha Valenzuela and Tonia Valenzuela, all at home; a stepsister, Kim Burtrum, of Marion; a stepbrother, Brad Thomasson, of Marion; a father-in-law, Larry (Mavis) Allen, of Marion; and two brothers-in-law, Billy (Julie) Allen, of Warren, and Jamey (Holly) Allen, of Bluffton.

A funeral service was held Dec. 26, 2008, at the Raven-Choate Funeral Home, Marion, with Rev. Charles Derick officiating. Burial was at Estates of Serenity, Marion.

Preferred memorials are gifts to establish a fund for the children of Robert Valenzuela in care of Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Rd., Marion, IN 46952.
