Noramay Dieckmann

Noramay Dieckmann, 74, of Van Buren, IN, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 2:57 a.m.

Mrs. Dieckmann was a lifelong resident of the Van Buren area. She was a 1952 graduate of Van Buren High School and attended Huntington College for three years. She had been employed at Myers Drive In, Marion, for 13 years and was a member of the UAW Sympathy Club.

She was born Sept. 8, 1934, in Landess to Francis L. and Pauline L. Foust Franks. Her mother survives in Marion. She married Richard H. Dieckmann on Aug. 30, 1963, at the United Brethren Church in Van Buren. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include four sons, Michael F. (Ginger) Dieckmann, of Pace, FL; Gregg R. (Lori) Dieckmann, of Plano, TX; Scott P. (Melissa) Dieckmann, of Richmond, KY; and Terry H. Dieckmann, of Van Buren; a brother, Sonny (Karen) Franks, of Upland; two sisters, Jessamine (Conrad) Shields and Carolyn Endsley, both of Marion; and seven grandchildren, John-Michael Dieckmann, Kelly Dieckmann and Kathleen Dieckmann, all of Pace, FL; Blake D. Dieckmann, of Plano, TX; Matthew Dieckmann and Noah Dieckmann, both of Van Buren; and Caitlin Dieckmann, of Richmond, KY;

A service was held Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, Van Buren. Rev. Dane Leitch officiated. Interment was at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
