Maryann Rigsbee, 65, of Marion, IN, died at her home on Monday, June 29, 2009, at 9:23 a.m.

Mrs. Rigsbee, a graduate of LaFontaine High School, worked as an interior designer for homes and businesses for more than 20 years. She was the co-owner of Yogurt Junction in Marion. She attended New Beginnings Christian Fellowship in Kokomo and was a member of Highland Avenue United Methodist Church in Marion.

She was born Dec. 21, 1943, in Kokomo to Charles and Dorothy Thomas Steidle. Her mother survives in Marion. She married Phillip C. Rigsbee on May 15, 1976, at the Highland Avenue United Methodist Church in Marion. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include three sons, Ty (Laurel) King, of Bethlehem, GA; Phillip D. (Deborah) Rigsbee, of Gas City; and Brett A. (Beth) Rigsbee, of Jonesboro; five daughters, Melanie L. (Bill) Booher, of Indianapolis; Kimberly G. (Barry) Soultz, of Jonesboro; Stephanie A. (Kevin) Miles, of Anderson; Lori A. Rigsbee, of Marion; and Shannon M. (Jeff) Rogers, of Greentown; a brother, Chuck (Phyllis) Steidle, of Frankfort; 22 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, July 2, 2009, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the First Friends Church, 2211 Wabash Road, Marion. A service will be held Friday, July 3, 2009, at noon, with calling two hours prior to the service, at New Beginnings Fellowship, 1900 S. Berkley Rd., Kokomo. Rev. Jeff Russell will officiate. Burial will be at Thrailkill Cemetery, Swayzee.
