Dennis A. Dobnick, 66, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at Markle Health and Rehabilitation, Markle.

Mr. Dobnick worked as a design engineer at QSE and retired as vice president of engineering for Wabash Magnetics Control Products Division. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was born in Rockford, IL, to Alexis and Vivian Dobnick. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dobnick.

Additional survivors include three daughters, Michelle (Thad) Tegtmeyer, Jennifer (Andrew) Yergler and Denise (Michael) Hunsche, all of Fort Wayne; a brother, Robert Dobnick, of Chicago, IL; and eight grandchildren, Cole, Sydney, Dylan, Alex, Zachary, Molly, Max and Alexis.

Calling is Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at 2 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Rd., Fort Wayne. Burial will be at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the Alzheimer's Association.
