Sam R. Enyeart

Sam R. Enyeart, 60, of Marion, IN, and having family members in Roanoke, IN, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, at 6:18 p.m. at Marion General Hospital.

Mr. Enyeart owned and operated Dutch's Tavern in Marion. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion.

He was born April 12, 1948, in Marion to Richard Enyeart and Barbara Sample Bussard.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Robinson, of Marion; a daughter, Brittni Enyeart, of Marion; two sons, Jason Bussard, of Marion, and Brandon (Nicole) Bussard, of Roanoke; his mother, Barbara Bussard, of Marion; his father, Dick (Naomi) Enyeart, of Marion; siblings, Janie Hall, Ronnie Bussard, Steve (Debbie) Enyeart, and Tim (Debbie) Enyeart, all of Marion; Lilly (Alan) Tipton, of Alexandria; and Chuck Enyeart and Skip Enyeart, both of Fairmount; stepsisters, Ginger (Steve) Lamb, of Marion, and Carla (Jim) McIntyre, of Gas City; and five grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, Marion, with Rev. Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial was at Marion National Cemetery.
