Dolores Dorcus Mae Wilcox, 85, of rural Urbana, IN, and having family members in Andrews, IN, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at 11:46 p.m. at the Wabash County Hospital.
Mrs. Wilcox was a member of St. Paul's County Line Church, in rural Andrews, and the Wabash Order of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker.
She was born Dec. 19, 1926, in Wabash to Jesse and Pauline Wilson Collins. She married Earl C. Wilcox on Feb. 14, 1948, in Greenfield. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Lynn (Cheryl) Wilcox, of Lagro; a daughter, Denise (Jerald) Dilsaver, of Urbana; seven grandchildren, Stacey (Michael) Meredith, of North Manchester; Jennifer (Jeremy) Hess, of Fort Wayne; Kelly (Patrick) Weitzel, of Andrews; Joshua (Kayla) Dilsaver, of Urbana; Christopher Wilcox and Lisa Wilcox, both of Lagro; and Kari (Travis) Stockton, of North Manchester; and a great-granddaughter.
Calling is Friday, June 15, 2012, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m., at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Conrad Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
