Thelma L. Resler, 100, of Marion, and a native of Huntington County, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Miller's Merry Manor, Marion.

Mrs. Resler was a member of Sunnycrest United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and a pianist.

She was born Nov. 9, 1911, in Polk Township, Huntington County, to Albert and Artesla Hyatt Fowerbaugh. She married Lester S. Resler, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Lois Resler, of Honolulu, Hawaii; a sister, Dorotha Miller, of Warsaw; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

A service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Rd., Marion. Additional calling is Wednesday, June 20, 2012, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Charles Ternnet will officiate. Burial will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery, Mt. Etna.
