Noel E. Yordy, 74, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at 6:40 a.m. at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Mr. Yordy graduated in 1955 from Chester Township High School and attended Manchester College for three years. He retired after 20 years from the Kroger Distribution Center, Indianapolis, where he worked as a semi truck driver. He attended the Huntington Church of the Nazarene and was a member of Masonic Lodge 195, Roanoke.

He was born Aug. 1, 1937, in Fort Wayne to Paul P. and Artista Baker Yordy. He married Juanita L. Falk on March 21, 1992, at the Bethel United Methodist Church, Huntington. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Ray (Nancy) Bonebrake, of Huntington; three daughters, Kimberly Hochendoner, of Hailey, ID; Amy Barr, of Columbia City; and Teresa (Craig) Miller, of Huntington; a brother, Ned K. Yordy, of Roanoke; a sister, Nancy (Tom) Beard, of Huntington; and seven grandchildren, Josh Foor, Jason Foor, Allen Miller, Andrea Funk, Jennifer Vigar, Ellie Jo Metzger and Melanie Hull.

Calling is Sunday, June 24, 2012, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Masonic Lodge 195 will conduct a Masonic service Sunday at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the mortuary on Monday, June 25, 2012, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Gene Vickery will officiate. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
