Mildred "Millie" Evelyn Ellison, 89, of Warsaw, IN, and a native of Huntington County, IN, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at 12:50 p.m. at the Mason Healthcare Center, Warsaw.

Mrs. Ellison graduated from Clear Creek High School, Huntington County, in 1941. Since 1950, she had lived in Kosciusko County, working on the family farm. She was a member of the Monroe Happy Homemakers and the Farm Bureau.

She was born Nov. 25, 1922, in Huntington County to Charles and Mary Emerick Penn. She married Richard Ellison on Feb. 16, 1945, in Huntington. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include four daughters, Mary Lou Cotton, of Syracuse; Dorothy Rutledge, of Claypool; Betty (Dan) Ormsby, of Columbia City; and Linda Lambert, of Warsaw; two sons, James (Karen) Ellison, of Warsaw, and Donald (Kelly) Ellison, of rural Pierceton; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, June 29, 2012, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Drive, Warsaw. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dennis L. Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
