Roy D. Lehman

Roy D. Lehman, 80, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Lehman worked as an electrician for Local 305 for 45 years, retiring in 1987. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of Cincinnati Bible Seminary. He was a member of Christ Church at Georgetown.

He was born Sept. 29, 1928, in Huntington. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty J. Lehman, of Fort Wayne.

Additional survivors include four daughters, Sue (Mike) Trzynka, of Jackson, TN; and Jamie (Gene) Baker, Brenda Lehman and Yvonne Houx, all of Fort Wayne; a sister, Roberta Hansen, of Florida; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd., Fort Wayne. A service will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Christ Church at Georgetown, 3131 Maplecrest Rd., Fort Wayne. Rev. Chris Steele and Rev. Dave Altman will officiate. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the Markle Fish and Game Club or Cincinnati Bible Seminary.
