Arnetta Mae Smith, 88, of Warren, IN, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at 3:20 a.m. at Heritage Pointe, in Warren.
Mrs. Smith was employed by Memcor in Huntington as a supervisor in the winding department for 35 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2689 Ladies Auxiliary, in Huntington, and attended New Hope United Brethren Church.
She was born June 27, 1924, in Huntington to Dale A. and Grace Prough Reed. She married Harold Smith on June 7, 1941, in Huntington. Her husband preceded her in death in June of 1973.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Raymond) Helton, of Huntington, and Roxanna (Robert) Seabolt, of Warren; a sister, Linda (Jerel) Jester, of Lowell; two brothers, Floyd (Sally) Reed, of Houlton, ME, and Dan (Carol) Reed, of Huntington; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Calling is Saturday, July 21, 2012, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a service following at noon, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Rev. Ray Seilhamer officiated. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
