Katherine Howell, 52, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at 3:30 a.m. at her home.

Mrs. Howell graduated from McDowell High School in 1977. She worked in production at Majestic in Huntington.

She was born Oct. 24, 1959, in McDowell, KY, to Bill and Draxie Caudill Newsome.
Survivors include three daughters, Jeri Henderson, Tasha Laughery and Heather Howell, all of Huntington; four sisters, Carol Sue Hamilton, of Minnie, KY; Marlene Hamilton and Geraldine Shaw, both of Huntington; and Violet Newsome, of Hi Hat, KY; a brother, David Newsome, of Huntington; and seven grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, July 26, 2012, from 10 a.m. to noon at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Cremation and burial will be at a later date.
