Ella Mae Mowery, 76, of Roanoke, IN, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Markle Health & Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Mowery was a member of the Nazarene Church in Fort Wayne. She had worked at Economy Screw Machine.

She was born Sept. 10, 1935, in Hazard, KY, to Alex and Millie Caudill Creech. She married Arthur L. Mowery, who preceded her in death in July of 1999.

Survivors include two daughters, Connie S. Freeman and Laurie A. Ballora; a son, Garry Mowery; three brothers, Alex Creech Jr., Lanie Creech and Joseph Creech; three sisters, Helen McGinnis, Joan Martz and Geraldine Myers; four grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens.
