Gary Wayne Miller, 64, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. at his residence.

Mr. Miller retired from General Motors in 2006 after serving 35 years as a production worker. He graduated in 1966 from Selma High School before entering the military.

He was born Feb. 11, 1948, in Muncie to Vaughn and June Tesch Miller. He was a veteran ranked E-5 of the United States Army. He married Diadra Ohrvall on Nov. 3, 1973, in Gaston, and she survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Rebecca (Aaron) Hoch, of Yorktown; two sons, Aaron (Nellie) Miller, of Adrian, MI, and John (Marina) Miller, of Indianapolis; a sister, Betty (Jim) Sutton, of Muncie; two brothers, Alan (Linda) Miller, of Muncie, and Wayne (Donna) Miller, of Las Vegas, NV; and two grandchildren, Davis Miller and Carter Miller, both of Adrian, MI.

Calling is Sunday, July 29, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will be Monday, July 30, 2012, at 10 a.m., with one hour of visitation prior, at the funeral home. Rev. Jeff Carrell will be officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery with the V.F.W. Post 2689 providing military graveside rites.
