Wayne B. Herring, 79, of Warren, IN, died Friday, July 27, 2012, at 12:05 a.m. at Heritage Pointe, in Warren.

Mr. Herring graduated from Warren High School in 1951. He served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955 and was stationed in Germany. He worked for the Overhead Door Company, in Hartford City.

He was born March 23, 1933, in Warren to Norval and Lela Beck Herring. He married Ruth Forst on March 10, 1962, in Warren. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Gayle (Sean) Straley, of Auburn, and Treva (John) Flemming, of Warren; two sisters, Norine Fuller, of Warren, and Regina (Dave) Coulter, of Liberty Center; four grandchildren, Jeremy Burcham, of Houston, TX; Annette Burcham, of Panama City, FL; Kendra Flemming, of Huntington; and Sarah Straley, of Auburn; and a great-granddaughter.

Calling is Sunday, July 29, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Glancy-H. Brown and Son Fuenral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 30, 2012, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Ethan Stivers officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.
