Judy Kreider, 66, of South Whitley, IN, and having ties to Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at 7:17 a.m. at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

Ms. Kreider's formative years were spent in South Whitley. She graduated from South Whitley High School in 1964. Following her graduation, she began her career with Lincoln National Life, Fort Wayne. She retired in 2005 with 41 years of service.

She was a member of Pleasant View Church, South Whitley.

She was born Nov. 10, 1945, in Huntington to Floren and Bernice Aldridge Kreider.

Survivors include two sisters, Beverly (Carl) Schmidt, of Fort Wayne, and Diann (Dennis) Krider, of Columbia City.

Calling is Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, 208 N. Maple St., South Whitley. A funeral service will be held Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Josh Armstrong officiating.

Preferred memorials are to Pleasant View Church or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
