Ellen M. Fisher, 72, a resident of Norwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, Huntington, died late Friday evening, Aug. 3, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Fisher had worked at several Huntington businesses, including Schacht Rubber, Memcor, Square D and most recently Ponderosa.

She was born May 16, 1940, in Huntington to Everett E. and Rosie M. Flaugh Koughn. She married Spencer R. Fisher on April 28, 1962, in Uniondale. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Pamela Weaver and Riva Wohlford, both of Huntington; a son, Daniel (Melody) Fisher, of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Fred Koughn, of Tacoma, WA, and Everett Koughn Jr., of Huntington; a sister, Betty Johnson, of Uniondale; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at 4 p.m. at New Hope United Brethren Church, 2001 Engle St., Huntington. Interment will take place at a later date at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
