James Linden Harvey, 67, of Wabash, IN, and having relatives in Huntington, IN, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at 10:55 a.m. at his home.
Mr. Harvey was a 1963 graduate of Wabash High School. He served a tour of duty in Vietnam with the United States Navy. He was a self-employed contractor and also worked at Wabash Alloys. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He was born March 14, 1945, in Wabash to Robert L. and Dorotha M. Harrold Harvey. His mother survives.
Additional survivors include three sons, Timothy Harvey Sr. and Aaron (Kimberly) Brown, both of Wabash, and Rodney (Tammi) Harvey, of Marion; a daughter, Susan Adaway, of Marion; a sister, Ann (James) Ambler, of Huntington; a brother, Dan (Faye) Harvey, of Lebanon, MO; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Calling is Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, and for one hour prior to service Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 110 N. Cass St., Wabash. Rev. Kurt Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in the Marion National Cemetery.
