Oliver N. Hill

Oliver Nathan Hill, 87, a resident of the Markle Health and Rehabilitation Center, died Jan. 13, 2009, at the center.

Mr. Hill, a former resident of Bluffton, was retired from Franklin Electric in Bluffton, where he had worked for 25 years. He was also a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ola Mae Vaughn Mercer-Hill; three daughters, Shirley (Mark) Duncan, of Geneva; Barbara Willing, of Muncie; and Mary (William) O'Bannon, of Louisiana; and a sister, Maebelle Harris, of Arkansas.

A funeral service was held Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at Goodwin Memorial Chapel, Bluffton. Burial was at Westlawn Cemetery, Geneva.
