Dawn L. Embree, 38, of Marion, IN, and having relatives in Van Buren, IN, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at 2:04 a.m., at her residence.

She was a bookkeeper, previously working at Ewer & Moritz Accounting.

She was born July 7, 1974, in Marion to Robert K. and Diana Modlin Embree.

Survivors include her mother, Diana L. Embree, of Marion; her father, Robert K. Embree, of Marion; a brother, R. Wade Embree, of Fort Wayne; her maternal grandmother, Louise Modlin, of Marion; and her paternal grandmother, Wilma J. Embree, of Van Buren.

Calling is Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City. A funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at 1 p.m., with Rick Jett officiating. Burial will be in the Van Buren Cemetery.
