Harriett G. McKee, 97, of Bluffton, IN, and having ties to Warren, IN, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at 11:15 p.m. at Christian Care Retirement Community.

Mrs. McKee was a former employee of Bolinger's Propane in Warren, Montgomery Ward's of Bluffton and the former United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and attended Six Mile Church.

She was born in Wells County on May 6, 1915, to Galen E. and Lilah Bender Gray. She married Charles Laverne McKee in 1943 in Kentucky. He preceded her in death in 1971.

Survivors include a son-in-law, Ron Beck, of Bluffton; a sister, Eunice McKee, of Bluffton; two grandchildren, Steven D. Harvey and Judy Gordon, both of Bluffton; and three three great-grandchildren.

Calling is Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Thoma/Rich, Chaney & Lemler Funeral Home, with a funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. Rev. Bruce Holland will officiate. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
