Pauline Kay Slater, 74, of Brown County, IN, and a native of Warren, IN, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at 9 a.m. at Hospice of South Central Indiana, Columbus.
Mrs. Slater graduated from Warren High School in 1955. She had worked at E-Systems for 14 years, retiring in 1999.
She was born Oct. 19, 1937, in Warren to Paul and Edna Meese Boxell. She married John Slater on Oct. 4, 1975, in Huntington. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include six sons, Neal Brown, of Atlanta, GA; David (Helen) Brown, of Alice Springs, Australia; Robert Slater, David Slater, Jonathan Hosler and Thomas Hosler; a daughter, Theresa Disbro; two sisters, Norma Van Camp, of Keystone, and Lola Kight, of Roanoke; a brother, Phillip (Susie) Boxell, of Wells County; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a service following at 7 p.m., at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N. Matilda St., Warren.
