Wanda E. Waters, 90, of Uniondale, IN, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at 12:45 a.m. at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Mrs. Waters had worked as a custodian for the Northern Wells Community School Corporation. She was a member of the Reifsburg United Methodist Church.

She was born Dec. 15, 1921, in Jay County to Leo J. and Nellie F. Abbott McKuras. She was married to Virgil Waters on Nov. 12, 1944, in Reifsburg. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1983.

Survivors include a son, Ted Waters, of Ossian; a daughter, Virgie (Avery) Thomas, of Marion; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Markle Cemetery at a later date.
