June L. Rodocker

June L. Rodocker, 89, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having ties to Huntington County, IN, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at 10:50 p.m. at Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation
Center, Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Rodocker was a 1941 graduate of Monument City High School, Huntington County, and a graduate of Fort Wayne Beauty School. A former resident of Wabash, she was a member of the Wabash Alliance Church and a former member of the Lagro United Methodist Church. She had worked at Hoosier Telecable, J.W. Lewis Realty and Wilkinson Lumber company, all in Wabash. She volunteered for the American Red Cross bloodmobile, Cheer, Wabash County Hospital and the Wabash County Home.

She was born Jan. 8, 1923, in Wabash County to Clement C. and Ruby A. Bright Harnish. She married Paul E. Rodocker on Aug. 29, 1941, in Lincolnville Her husband preceded her in death on March 9, 2007.

Survivors include two daughters, Paulette (Barry) Conrad, of Wabash, and Diane Rodocker, of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Darcy (Jenny) Conrad, of Shipshewana, and Vindy (Carl) Pace, of Wabash; and five great-grandchildren.

Calling is Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Home, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Don Mitchell, Rev. David Biberstein and Rev. David Myer will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Andrews.
