Margie Ellen Dennie, 86, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.

Mrs. Dennie had been part owner of a stock race car and sold Fashion Two Twenty makeup. She was a member of the Edgerton Wesleyan Church.

She was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Huntington to Eldon and Frances Zent. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Donald Dennie.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Henry, of Rushville; four daughters, Frances Henry; Linda (John) Hill, of New Haven; Norma (Darrel) Howe; and Mary (Mike) Linnemeir; a brother, James Zent, of Sunrise, AZ; three sisters, Donna Dawson, Ruth Ballinger and Juanita Gillenwater; eight half-brothers and half-sisters; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Dave Dignall will officiate.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the Edgerton Wesleyan Church.
