Debra Marie Nelson, 51, of Bluffton, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Nelson, a 1979 graduate of Bluffton High School, had been employed as an inspector for Quality Inspection since 2006. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was born March 11, 1961, in Bluffton to Everett R. and Anita M. Hernandez Carroll. Her mother survives in Bluffton.

Additional survivors include a son, Trevor D. Nelson, of Bethpage, NY; a stepdaughter, Jennifer D. (Vincent) Stetler-Seats, of Greenwood; a sister, Julie Kinsey, of Bluffton; and two brothers, E.J. (Annette) Carroll, of Huntington, and Robert (Shawn) Carroll, of Lafayette.

She is also survived by a companion, Shaun Squier, of Bluffton.

A service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Goodwin Memorial Chapel, Bluffton. Rev. Kaleb Kinsey will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton.
