Myra Johnson, 82, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at The Heritage of Huntington.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker.
She was born June 7, 1930, in Pike County, KY, to Hi and Virgie Hall Robinson. She married Richard Johnson on June 1, 1946, in Floyd County, KY. Her husband preceded her in death on July 9, 1969.
Survivors include a son, Bill G. (Amy) Johnson, of Fort Wayne; four daughters, Linda L. Nunemaker, Glenda S. Hall, Brenda (Roger) Emley and Lois E. (Kem) Pressler, all of Huntington; a brother, Walter Robinson, of South Gate, MI; 10 grandchildren, Tammy Larkey, John Hall, William Nunemaker Jr., Chad Nunemaker, Eric Emley, Brad Emley, Amy VanNess, Cory Pressler, Jennifer Johnson and Bryce Johnson; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Calling is Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.
