Helen J. Brindle, 96, of Bluffton, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012.

Mrs. Brindle was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She was a member of the Uniontown Church of God and its Ladies Aid Society.

She was born Nov. 8, 1915, in Wells County to Lester and Lulu Schwartz Caley. She married Jewel Brindle, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Sandra Brindle, of Huntington; two granddaughters, Laura (Aaron) Westfall, of Liberty Center, and Dawn (Faron) Ferrell, of Huntington; and six great-grandchildren.

Calling is Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 W. Mill St., Ossian. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Uniontown Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the Woodburn Children's Home.
