Geraldine Frankle, 93, of Warsaw, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at 3:50 p.m. at Miller's Merry Manor, in Warsaw.
Mrs. Frankle graduated from South Bend Beauty School and owned her own beauty salon for four years. She was a piano teacher for more than 50 years, retiring in 1999. She had lived in Warsaw since 1948 and was a member of the Akron Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church, in Warsaw.
She was born July 17, 1919, in Akron to London and Florence Bunnell Imhoff. She married John Frankle on Jan. 6, 1942, in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1985.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy (Jim) Miller, of Warsaw; two sons, Jim (Karen) Frankle, of Columbia City, and Joel (Jennifer) Frankle, of Huntington; nine grandchildren, Jim Miller, of Granite Bay, CA; Lisa Page, of Slidell, LA; Scott Miller, of Warsaw; Kevin Frankle and Michelle Simmons, both of Columbia City; and Emily Frankle, Kati Frankle, Megan Frankle and Hannah Frankle, all of Huntington; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A service was held on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at the McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Rev. William Wood officiating.
