Annette Gray, 71, of Silver Lake, IN, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at 1:57 p.m. at her home.
Mrs. Gray was a 1959 graduate of Port Leyden High School. She attended Mohawk Community College, in Utica, NY, for two years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She worked as an accounts payable clerk at the Erie Department Store for 20 years and at Pathfinder Services for 23 years.
She was born April 21, 1941, in Port Leyden, NY, to Howard Stanley and Eleanor Marie Barber. She married Dennis Gray on June 24, 1967. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Christopher (Janet) Gray, of Warsaw; a daughter, Angela (Jed) Stout, of Markle; a brother, Daniel (Joy) Barber, of Tennessee; three sisters, Charlotte VanZandt, of Lowville, NY; Patricia Fox, of Greig, NY; and Catherine (Kent) Heaton, of Grass Valley, CA; six grandchildren, Rachel (Zach) Long, of Memphis, TN; Samantha (Wayne) Tackett, of Huntington; Michael Wechsler and Sydney Wechsler, both of Markle; and Derek Gray and Dylan Gray, both of Warsaw.
Calling is Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a service following at 7 p.m., at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. Rev. Rich VanOsdol will officiate. Private burial will be at a later date.
