Sharon R. Woods, 48, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at her home.
Mrs. Woods was employed by Huntington University as financial aid director for 25 years. She was a member of Union Church, where she sang on the worship team and was a youth leader and camp counselor.
She graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1982, attended Huntington College and received her master's degree from Ball State University.
She was born Nov. 21, 1963, in Huntington County to Jack G. and Betty E. Harris Green. Her parents survive in Van Buren. She married Kipp Woods on June 6, 1987, at Union Church. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Courtney Woods and Breanna Woods, both of Huntington; a son, Adam Woods, of Huntington; a sister, Sandy (John) Einhaus, of Osgood; and a brother, Scott (Bridget) Green, of Van Buren.
Calling is Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Union Church, 3688E-400N, Huntington. A service will be held at the church on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Matt Gapinski will officiate.
