Virginia M. Glendenning, 102, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at 9:13 p.m. at Norwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, Huntington, IN.

Mrs. Glendenning was a homemaker. She graduated in 1928 from Flint (MI) High School.

She was born April 19, 1910, in Grand County to Harry J. and Mary Jane Miller Miller. She married Don L. Glendenning on July 5, 1931, in Columbia City. Her husband preceded her in death on March 16, 2001.

Survivors include two sons, Don M. (Jerry) Glendenning, of Columbus, and Bill Glendenning, of Fairborn, OH; a daughter, Nancy (Ed) Curless, of Lagro; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a service following at noon, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Rev. Raymond Scribner will officiate. Burial will be at Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion.
Preferred memorials are gifts to the Cancer Society of Huntington County in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary.
