Dustin R. Miller

Dustin Ross Miller, 31, of Winona Lake, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at his home.

Mr. Miller graduated from Warsaw High School in 1999 and served in the United States Navy from 1999 to 2007. While serving during Iraqi Freedom, he earned the Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He was currently employed as a furnace operator with Zimmer, Inc. He was a member of the Silver Lake Wesleyan Church.

He was born March 27, 1981, in Fort Wayne to Kent and Patty Jones Miller. His parents survive. He married Jennifer Augustine on June 2, 2002, in Silver Lake. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Abigail; a son, Nathan; four brothers, Brian (Becky) Miller, Nick Miller, Alex (Jennifer) Calhoun and Joshua Miller, all of Warsaw; a sister, Andrea Calhoun, of Warsaw; his paternal grandparents, Sherry Amundson, of Huntington, and Ron Miller, of Claypool; his maternal grandparents, Larry and Eliza Jones, of Syracuse; a brother-in-law, Adam (Elizabeth) Augustine, of Warsaw; and his mother-in-law, Lou Augustine, of Warsaw.

A service was held on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Rev. Barry Faucet officiating. Military honors were conducted by American Legion Post 258, of Pierceton.
