Mary L. Dollar, 95, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 3:12 a.m. at Heritage Pointe, in Warren, IN.

Mrs. Dollar attended Jefferson High School, Upland. She was a member of the Oak Chapel United Methodist Church and a member and past treasurer of the Oak Chapel Methodist Women. She was retired from Kmart in Marion.

She was born Nov. 17, 1916, in Grant County to Arthur and Elsie Townsend Boles. She married Twila V. Dollar in July, 1933. Her husband preceded her in death in 1985.
Survivors include five daughters, Marie (Francis) Ford and Patty (Mike) Embry, both of Marion; Betty Jo (Harry) Pearson, of Hartford City; Susan Cox, of Springfield, TN; and Lisa (Stephen) Morris, of Indianapolis; four sons, William (Sondra) Dollar, of Montpelier; Thomas J. Dollar, of Richmond; Daniel (Mel) Dollar, of Marion; and Robert "Jeff" (Marsha) Dollar, of Galveston; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, Van Buren. A service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Oak Chapel United Methodist Church, 1335 S. Jadden Rd., Marion. Burial will be at the Van Buren Cemetery, Van Buren.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the Oak Chapel United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall Fund in care of the funeral home.
