Jerry L. Haney, 69, of Warren, IN, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 10 p.m. at his home.
Mr. Haney graduated from Union Township High School in 1960 and served overseas in the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. He worked at Millington Truck Body, Huntington, for several years and retired from Good Humor-Breyers, Huntington. He was a former member of the UAW and had attended Good Shepherd United Brethren Church, Huntington.
He was born in Huntington County to Douglas and Mary Louise Sprinkle Haney.
He is survived by a daughter, Shannon K. Hartman, of Warren; a son, Michael L. Haney, of Warren; a sister, Nancy (Joe) Worster, of Huntington; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Family members may call on Friday, Oct.19, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Warren Fire Station, with calling for friends following from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
