Thomas D. Barker, 69, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at 11:55 p.m. at Marion Veterans Hospital.
Mr. Barker graduated from Huntington Catholic High School in 1963, served as a sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967 and worked at Our Sunday Visitor and Marsh Supermarket. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and American Legion Post 7 in Huntington.
He was born Feb. 25, 1943, in Huntington to Ferd E. and Lucile M. Driscoll Barker.
He is survived by a sister, Sharon (Larry) Young, of Huntington, and two brothers, James E. Barker, of Leawood, KS, and Edward (Marta) Barker, of Huntington.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, with Rev. John Pfister officiating. American Legion Post 85 will provide graveside military honors.
Preferred memorials are to St. Mary Catholic Church or American Cancer Society, in care of Deal-Rice Funeral Home, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington, IN 46750.
