Mary Magaret Burton, 88, having family members in Huntington County, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Comprehensive Healthcare in Clearwater, FL.

Mrs. Burton was a member of the Huntington Church of the Brethren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dwight A. Vergon, and her second husband, Carl J. Burton.

Survivors include a son, Larry (Vickie) Vergon, of Orlando, FL; a daughter, Linda Burton, of Abingdon, VA; three brothers, Dean Gressley, of Huntington; Kenneth (Virginia) Gressley, of Columbia City; and Jerry (Mary Ann) Gressley, of Andrews; two sisters, Ruth Ann Griffie, of Auburn, and JoAnn (John) Garver, of Yongstown, OH; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery, 3688E-400N, Huntington. Rev. Craig Burkholder of the Hudson United rethren Church will officiate.
