Donald Lee Neff, 78, of Alexandria, VA, and a native of Warren, IN, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, in Alexandria.
Mr. Neff graduated from Jefferson High School, Huntington County, in 1952, and earned a business degree from Marion Business College. He worked at RCA in Marion; Fairmount; Findlay, OH; and Washington, PA from 1953 until 1981. After leaving RCA, he worked for TacTec and PennCoil/Siemens in Pennsylvania and Vaser in Indianapolis. He co-founded CVLaser in 1990 and retired in 1991.
He was born Aug. 18, 1934, near Warren to John H. and Mary A. Clark Neff. He married Janet Lee Roth on June 10, 1956, and she preceded him in death. Marriages to Christa Hens and Janet Clark ended in divorce.
Survivors include four sons, Michael (Marlenia) Neff, of Alexandria, VA; David (Janet) Neff, of Hickory, NC; Stephen (Michelle) Neff, of Shelbyville; and Douglas Neff, of Chicago, IL; a twin brother, Ronald (Myrna) Neff, of Huntington County; and six grandchildren, Veronica, Jessica, Victoria, Amanda, Taylor and Daniel.
A service was held on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, Fairmount. Burial was at Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
Preferred memorials are gifts to a hospice service of the donor's choice.
