Franklin F. Farr, 51, of Oklahoma City, OK, and formerly of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, in Southwest Medical Center, in Oklahoma City

Mr. Farr was a 1979 graduate of Huntington North High School. He had lived most of his life in the Grant County and Van Buren areas. He had been employed with the Mike Shook Machine Shop, of Van Buren, and later with Taylor Well Drilling Co. of Van Buren.

He was born Oct. 13, 1960, in Huntington to Franklin S. and Eula Belle Witmer Farr. His mother survives in Warren.

Additional survivors include a son, Jeremy Farr, of Huntington; a daughter, Katherine Farr, of Van Buren; a sister, Dara Farr, of Detroit, MI; and two brothers, Delmer (Dana) Farr, of Belvedere, IL, and Darrell (Sherrie) Farr, of Sacramento, CA.

Calling is Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Heritage Pointe Applegate Chapel, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren. A service will be held at the chapel on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Leon Pomeroy and Rev. Ed Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Van Buren Cemetery in Van Buren.
