Joseph Carlton Isaacs, 58, of Auxier, KY, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY.

Mr. Isaacs was born Aug. 29, 1954, to Clyde and Allene Jewell McKenzie Isaacs.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph Isaacs II, of Earlville, NY, and Tim Dawson, of Indiana; a daughter, Brandy (Trent) Collins, of Huntington; two brothers, David Isaacs, of Gibraltar, MI, and Clyde Isaacs, of Prestonsburg, KY; three sisters, Charlotte Isaacs, of Kingsport, TN; Lynn McKenzie, of Ypsilanti, MI; and Janet Wilson, of Richmond, KY; and 11 grandchildren.

A service was held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel, Paintsville, KY. Burial was at Fords Gap Cemetery, Auxier, KY.
