Dorland W. Wyatt, 81, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at 1:25 p.m. at Miller's Merry Manor in Huntington.
Mr. Wyatt was a veteran of the United Stated Army, having served as a corporal in the Korean War. After the military he went to work at Indiana International Harvester, and retired after 32 years as a mechanic.
He was born July 5, 1931, in Huntington to Alvin A. and Mary L. White Wyatt.
He is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth (Donald) Fishbaugh, of Huntington; Athena Wade, of Texas; and Michelle Parker, of Houston, TX; four sisters, Sharon (Harold) East and Joanna England, both of Warsaw; Joyce (Tim) Watson, of Columbia City; and Susan Hamilton, of Milford; and a brother, Robert (Callie) Shafer, of Warsaw.
Calling is Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, from 10 a.m. to noon at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington, with VFW Post 2689 of Huntington performing a military service at noon.
