Robert J. "Jim" Fisher, 75, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at 10 p.m. at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Fisher had served as an airman in the United States Air Force, and worked as a factory worker and manager of Eagle Picher, retiring in 1997. He was a member of American Legion Post 85 and VFW Post 2689.

He was born Aug. 26, 1937, in Fort Wayne to Kenneth and Louise G. McFarland Fisher. He married Evelyn L. Wall on Aug. 26, 1989, in Huntington. She survives.

Also surviving are a son, Kenneth D. Fisher, of Huntington; two daughters, Tammi (Jeff) Brown and Marcie "Tammy" (Ricky) Millington, both of Huntington; two stepsons, Bruce Hadley, of Jacksonville, FL, and Steven Hadley, of Huntington; a brother, Jerry W. Fisher, of Huntington; a sister, Janet Smith, of Huntington; 19 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and one hour preceding the funeral service Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel. Capt. Barbara McCauley will officiate. VFW Post 2689 will provide military honors.
